overview

I recently had the opportunity to visit a beautifully maintained unit at Sang Suria Condominium in Sentul, and I have to say — this one genuinely impressed me from the moment I stepped in.

The unit sits in Block C, which is one of the more exclusive blocks in the development. With only 4 floors and a total of 24 units in the entire block, the density here is refreshingly low. You're not sharing lifts and corridors with hundreds of neighbours, and that alone creates a very different living experience compared to your typical high-rise condo. It's quiet, it's private, and it feels almost like a landed property in terms of atmosphere.

Walking into the living and dining area, the first thing that struck me was how spacious and bright it felt. The unit has been fully renovated back in 2018 at a cost of approximately RM150,000, and you can really see where the money went. The floors throughout the entire unit have been upgraded to full marble-like tiles that catch the light beautifully. The plaster ceilings are done tastefully with cove lighting that gives the living area a warm, hotel-lobby kind of ambience. A ceiling fan is centrally mounted, and the air-conditioning keeps the space comfortable throughout. On one side of the living room there's even a cosy hanging egg chair nestled by the balcony sliding door — a charming little touch that sets the tone for the whole unit.

And speaking of the balcony — step outside and you're greeted by an unobstructed view of lush greenery from Sentul Park directly in front. There are no neighbouring units or houses staring back at you. Just trees, fresh air, and a sense of calm that's rare to find this close to the city centre. All the bedroom windows share this same green outlook, which means every room in the house wakes up to nature.

The living area flows naturally into a dry kitchen with a built-in bar countertop — great for casual dining or entertaining guests. The wet kitchen is separate and well-equipped with full built-in cabinets, upper and lower, with glass panel displays on the upper section. The countertop is finished in dark granite, giving it a clean, classic contrast against the white cabinetry. There's also a spice rack, ample counter space, and room for all your appliances. It's a practical, functional kitchen that's been well looked after.

The unit has three bedrooms, all with attached ensuite bathrooms. Each room comes with full-height built-in wardrobes that go all the way to the ceiling — maximising storage while keeping the rooms looking neat and uncluttered. The master bedroom is particularly well done. It features a custom tatami-style platform bed base with a built-in dressing table beside it — very Japanese-minimalist in feel, and surprisingly spacious. The windows here look directly out onto the park greenery, so mornings in this room are genuinely peaceful.

The master bathroom is easily a highlight of the unit. It's been renovated to a very high standard — wood-look floor tiles, large format wall tiles in neutral tones, dual vessel basins sitting atop a long built-in vanity cabinet, and — the showstopper — a corner Jacuzzi bathtub. It's the kind of bathroom that makes you feel like you're staying in a boutique hotel rather than a condo.

The other bathrooms are equally well-maintained, each with their own built-in vanity cabinetry and water heaters. Everything is clean and in working condition — this is genuinely move-in ready, no touch-ups needed.

The unit also comes with Korean wallpapers in selected areas that add a soft, elegant texture to the walls, and a full-height built-in shoe rack at the entrance that keeps things organised right from the front door. There are 4 air-conditioners throughout the unit, so every room stays cool.

In terms of security and facilities, Sang Suria is gated and guarded with an access card system and CCTV coverage. The facilities include a swimming pool, tennis court, badminton court, squash court, BBQ area, function hall, playground, and a jogging track — solid for a low-density development like this.

Location-wise, this unit punches well above its weight. The Jalan Ipoh MRT station and a shopping mall are just 200 metres away on foot from entrance to entrance, making this ideal for those who commute or prefer not to rely heavily on a car. Sentul Park is a short 0.5 km stroll away, and you have KPJ Sentosa KL Specialist Hospital about 3 km out for medical needs. Sunway Putra Mall, Publika, and several neighbourhood shops are all within easy reach.

Honestly, this unit ticks boxes that are hard to find together in one package — the space, the view, the renovation quality, the low-density block, the freehold title, and the MRT right at your doorstep. It's currently owner-occupied, which usually means the unit has been treated well, and that's evident the moment you walk through the door. If you're looking for something move-in ready, private, and genuinely liveable in a well-connected pocket of KL, this is worth a serious look.
